After a brief career in industry, Jérôme Baudouin turned to the performing arts as a musician, playing bass and keyboards in various bands. His interest in the technical aspects of live performance led him to undertake an internship at the Théâtre des Quartiers d’Ivry – CDN du Val-de-Marne, where he discovered the field of theatre lighting.
He then completed the CFPTS training programme Lighting Design, Writing and Stage Management, led by Dominique Mabileau.
Since then, Jérôme has worked with various companies on tour across theatre, performance, dance and circus, while also creating lighting designs for dance productions, theatre, performances and events such as Nuit Blanche.
His recent lighting designs include Médusée by Léna Bokobza-Brunet, Quand on dort on n’a pas faim by Anthony Martine, L’Art de la chute by Pierre Koestel, and Ce soir j’ai de la fièvre et toi tu meurs de froid by Julien Lewkowicz
